Meraki VR Studio at London Indian Film Festival

MONDAY JUNE 26, 2017

Meraki VR Studio is proud to announce the selection of three of its films at the ongoing London Indian Film Festival. Meraki’s latest film ‘Shower with Me?’ had its international premiere at the festival. Directed by Meraki’s Co-founder and Creative Head, Sairam Sagiraju, ‘Shower with Me?’ elicited screams of horror as the viewers braved the spooky VR experience.

Our other films playing at the festival are Radhika Apte starrer ‘Phobia VR’ and ‘A Mumbai Summer’, our tribute to the city, in VR. The weeklong film festival at London and Birmingham ends on 2nd July. Sairam is a part of Guru Lounge, a panel discussion by eminent VR filmmakers to discuss the exciting medium of VR in films.

Despite being a company focussed on client commissioned projects, the selections at the festival come as a testament to Meraki’s prowess on the craft of VR filmmaking. The response to our films encourages the thought of creating VR experiences for a larger consumer base.
